Maintenance Engineer

Job role: Maintenance Engineer
Money: £45,000 Salary + Overtime + Benefits
Location: Carlisle
Shifts: 4on 4off
 
We have partnered with a leading innovator in recycling and waste production, specialising in recycling plants. Due to continued success, they are seeking a new maintenance engineer.
 
The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include.

• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
• Maintaining all equipment on site, such as, conveyors, separators, shredders, crushers & belts
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
• Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
